Day 01: Cochin – Guruvayoor
Arrive at Cochin International Airport and proceed for a short sightseeing tour of Cochin.
Visit Fort Kochi, famous for its colonial charm and the iconic Chinese fishing nets. Explore the historic St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India.
Wander through the bustling Jew Town and visit the Paradesi Synagogue, followed by the beautiful Mattancherry (Dutch) Palace.
Later, enjoy a scenic drive to Guruvayoor (Approx. 2.5 hrs). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel, relax & overnight stay.
Day 2: Guruvayoor – Munnar
Begin your day with an early morning darshan at the Guruvayoor Temple, one of Kerala’s most revered shrines.
After the visit, check out from your hotel and begin your drive to Munnar (approx. 5 hrs). On the way, stop at scenic viewpoints and spice plantations, where you can enjoy the aroma of Kerala’s famed spices.
Upon arrival in Munnar, check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax amidst the calm, cool hills. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar
After breakfast, proceed to discover the scenic beauty of Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Dam, followed by Kundala Lake and Echo Point. Later, drive up to Top Station for magnificent views of the Western Ghats. In the afternoon, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the region’s rich tea-making heritage.
As the day winds down, return to your hotel to relax. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar - Alleppey
Have breakfast then check out and embark on a scenic drive to Alleppey often referred to as the “Venice of the East” (Approx. 4.5 hrs). Upon arrival, check in to your houseboat or hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy the tranquil backwaters, lush green landscapes lined with coconut groves and quaint villages. Enjoy a delicious traditional Kerala meal.
In the evening, witness the sunset over the backwaters and soak in the peaceful ambiance. Overnight stay on the houseboat in Alleppey.
Day 5: Alleppey - Trivandrum
After breakfast, bid farewell to the tranquil backwaters and drive to Trivandrum (Approx. 4.5 hrs), a vibrant city blending tradition and modern charm.
On arrival, begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, an architectural marvel and one of the most revered temples in India. Continue to the Napier Museum and Natural History Museum, known for their rich collections of art, culture, and heritage.
Visit the elegant Kanakakunnu Palace surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens. As evening sets in, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Trivandrum.
Day 6: Trivandrum – Kanyakumari
Early in the morning, drive to Kanyakumari (Approx. 2.5 hrs), the southernmost tip of mainland India. Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a serene monument surrounded by the sea. It is said that Swami Vivekananda swam across the sea at Kanyakumari to reach the mid-sea rock, where he meditated for three days and nights. Also see the towering Thiruvalluvar Statue.
Continue to the Kanyakumari Temple and Gandhi Memorial, both offering insights into the region’s cultural and spiritual significance. Enjoy the stunning view of the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean.
Later, return to Trivandrum and spend your evening relaxing at leisure. Overnight stay in Trivandrum.
Day 7: Departure from Trivandrum
In the morning after breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Trivandrum International Airport for your onward flight, carrying warm memories of Kerala’s serene backwaters, misty hills, and vibrant coastal charm.
